High School Musical star Matt Prokop has been arrested in Victoria County, Texas, on charges of possession or promotion of child pornography.
According to TMZ, “Law enforcement in Victoria County tell TMZ … Prokop is currently in custody at the county jail and is being held without bail after being arrested on Christmas Eve on multiple charges, including alleged possession of child pornography and resisting arrest.”
The 35-year-old actor appeared in shows like Hannah Montana, Good Luck Charlie, and the TV movie Geek Charming, where he starred opposite Hyland. He also dated Sarah Hyland, from Modern Family, for nearly five years before breaking up in 2014.
But this won’t be the first time he’s gotten into legal trouble. Back in 2014, Sarah Hyland was granted a restraining order against him, as per a report by TMZ. Where she accused Matt of physically and verbally abusing her during their relationship, she described one particularly frightening argument where he allegedly pinned her against a car while choking her.
