The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has released a summary detailing the first 10 days of its military campaign, known as Operation Epic Fury. According to the update, US forces have struck approximately 5,000 targets across Iran and damaged or destroyed at least 50 naval vessels. However, the command did not provide specific details about the exact locations or identities of the 5,000 targets.
Instead, the statement outlined the general categories of targets involved in the strikes. These reportedly included Iranian military command and control centres, integrated air defence systems, ballistic missile launch sites, naval vessels and submarines, anti-ship missile systems, military communication networks, and facilities linked to ballistic missile and drone production.
CENTCOM also highlighted the range of military assets deployed in the region as part of Operation Epic Fury. The list included B-1 bombers, B-2 stealth bombers, B-52 bombers, LUCAS drones, Patriot missile defence systems, THAAD anti-ballistic missile systems, as well as F-15, F-16, F-18 and F-22 fighter jets.
In addition, the command shared a video showing a strike on what it described as an underground missile launcher. The footage shows a projectile hitting the launcher, followed by a large explosion. Alongside the video, CENTCOM wrote: “The Iranian regime can try to hide its missile launchers, but U.S. forces won’t stop looking. When we find them, we’re taking them out.”

The update comes as US President Donald Trump suggested the conflict may be nearing its conclusion. “I think the war is very complete, pretty much,” Trump claimed.

Iranian officials, however, have rejected assertions that the conflict with the United States and Israel is close to ending. They have instead indicated that their military is prepared for a prolonged confrontation. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said on March 9 that there is “no room” for diplomacy while military strikes continue, signalling readiness for what could become a long and drawn-out conflict.
