The US Justice Department on Thursday released additional FBI documents tied to its investigation of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The newly released records include previously withheld summaries of interviews with a woman who alleged that President Donald Trump sexually assaulted her in the 1980s after she was introduced to him by Jeffrey Epstein.
According to the department, the interview summaries had not been made public in earlier congressionally mandated releases related to the late sex offender because they were mistakenly labeled as “duplicative.” Officials said the materials were only recently identified as separate records during a further review.
In the newly disclosed documents, the woman—who said she was between 13 and 15 years old at the time of the alleged incidents—told investigators that Epstein had taken her to a location in either New York or New Jersey where she was introduced to Trump. She alleged that Trump attempted to force her to perform oral sex, and that she bit him while resisting.
The woman also claimed that Epstein sexually assaulted her on separate occasions and said she received threatening phone calls over the years from individuals she believed were linked to Epstein.
She was threatened to remain silent.
Meanwhile, Democrats have begun examining how the Trump administration handled the Epstein-related files.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing connected to the allegations involving Epstein. The Justice Department has previously stated that some of the released documents “contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump,” particularly those submitted around the 2020 US elections.
On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee voted to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify about the department’s handling and disclosure of the records. The bipartisan motion passed by a vote of 24–19 and reflected growing concerns over transparency in the Epstein case.
The latest document release is part of the broader public disclosure of millions of pages tied to investigations related to Epstein.
